Christ is Risen! Truly, He is Risen!

Alleluia, Alleluia!

Easter Sunday: The Solemnity of the Resurrection of Our Lord, Jesus Christ

"for as yet they did not know the scripture, that he must rise from the dead."
(Gospel of St. John 20:9)

"O death, where is your sting? O Hades, where is your victory? Christ is risen and you are abolished. Christ is risen and the demons are cast down. Christ is risen and the angels rejoice. Christ is risen and life is freed. Christ is risen and the tomb is emptied of the dead: for Christ, being risen from the dead, has become the Leader and Reviver of those who had fallen asleep. To Him be glory and power for ever and ever. Amen."    -St. John Chrysostom (Easter Homily)

The Synod of Bishops of the Old Catholic Confederation sends its Greetings of brotherly love to His Holiness, Pope Francis, and joins all Roman Catholics in joyful solidarity on the historic occasion of the celebration of the Canonization of Pope John Paul II and Pope John XXIII at St. Peter's Basilica in Rome, on April 27, 2014.

We pray for the all of our Christian brothers and sisters who are persecuted for their faith around the world, and especially in Nigeria, the Middle East, Ukraine and Venezuela. The Synod of Bishops sends its Apostolic blessings of peace and promise of Christian solidarity. The President of the Synod of Bishops requests that all the faithful of our Confederation pray for a peaceful resolution in these troubled areas.

Consider a Vocation to Traditional Priesthood and experience mysticism and joy!
