Canon Theologian of the Old Catholic Confederation

Professor Mark Edwards, D.Phil. is Canon Theologian of the Old Catholic Confederation and Theological Consultant to the Synod of Bishops.

A renowned Christian theologian, Professor Edwards is Professor of Theology at Christ Church at the University of Oxford. He holds a BA in Literae Humaniores (Oxon), BA in Theology (Oxon), an MA (Oxon) and D. Phil. Literae Humaniores from Oxford University. His numerous publications include Neoplatonic Saints (2000), Origen against Plato (2002), John Through the Centuries (2003), Constantine and Christendom (2004), Culture and Philosophy in the Age of Plotinus (2006), Catholicity and Heresy in the Early Church (2009), Image, Word and God in the Early Christian Centuries (2012) and Christians, Gnostics and Philosophers in Late Antiquity (2012).
