The Old Catholic Confederation (OCC) is a ecumenical union of traditional, orthodox Old Catholic dioceses and jurisdictions governed by an international Synod of Bishops founded on the Supreme Authority of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, through Apostolic Succession.
The Old Catholic Confederation currently includes ten Member Churches and twelve national jurisdictions of traditional and orthodox Old Catholic Christians around the world. A traditional confederation, the OCC is not associated with the Union of Utrecht. Founded under the patronage of His Grace, The Most Rev. S. Tilewa Johnson, then Primate and Metropolitan-Archbishop of the Church of Province of West Africa, who officially recognized the Old Catholic Confederation as a "distinct Old Catholic Christian Community" in ecumenical partnership with the Church of the Province of West Africa and the worldwide Anglican Communion.
His Grace, The Most Rev. Dr. Daniel Yinkah Sarfo, Primate and Metropolitan Archbishop of the Province of the Church of West Africa, is the current Pro-Patron of the Old Catholic Confederation.
His Grace, The Most Rev. Dr. Craig J. N. de Paulo, Archbishop and President of the Synod of Bishops of the Old Catholic Confederation, is also Episcopal Commissary of the Church of the Province of West Africa to North America.
